If you want to go to Chiba Shrine, Mame Daifuku

If you visit Chiba Shrine, I highly recommend trying Mame Daifuku from Honpo Kimuraya, which is just a minute's walk away.

Mame Daifuku is a traditional Japanese sweet with a flavor that may vary depending on personal taste, but those who enjoy it find it delicious!

Be aware that it often sells out in the afternoon.

Mame Daifuku is a traditional Japanese dessert made of soft, chewy rice cake (mochi) filled with sweetened red bean paste and small whole beans. It offers a unique combination of textures and flavors that many people find delightful.

I personally enjoy Mame Daifuku with tea, but it also pairs well with coffee, making me feel happy! The price is quite reasonable, so I highly recommend both locals and foreigners to give it a try. You can find it for sale in the basement of SOGO Chiba, but if you're visiting Chiba Shrine, I'd encourage you to go to the main store instead.
